Welcome to King's Covenant Church!

We are a Reformed congregation, seeking to bring the Lordship of Christ to bear in our hearts, homes, and our community. We welcome you to come and build with us. We currently are meeting at 5156 52 Ave, Drayton Valley at 10:30AM on Sunday mornings.

What is Lord's Day Worship like?

Each Lord’s Day Service at King’s Covenant Church follows this biblical pattern:

  1. Call to Worship – God calls us into His presence

  2. Confession – We confess our sins and receive His pardon

  3. Consecration – God speaks to us through His Word

  4. Communion – We feast with God and one another

  5. Commission – God sends us out to serve Him in His world

For a more detailed look at what our worship looks like, check out one of our recent sermons with the bulletin enclosed.

Are my Children Welcome?
We believe that the Covenant of God's Grace extends not just to us, but also to our children (Genesis 17:7-8; Acts 2:38-39). Therefore, children ought to be in the Lord's Day Service with everyone. (Matt. 19:14)

1. What about when my babies cries?

A: Crying babies are evidences of growth and life in the church.

2. What about when my child misbehaves?

A: Disciplining your children is Worship, so deal with it in the moment and rejoin us.

3. My child gets bored.

A: Bring them anyway. Perhaps they simply need to be taught to actively participate in the church service through singing, reciting the Creeds, and praying with us. It is also alright to have quiet things to keep them occuppied like colouring books, stuffed animals, etc.

4. I'm a nursing Mom. Is there a place for me to do that?

A: At the back of the sanctuary is a space for nursing moms with a rocking chair and a playpen. You can still hear the service and be in privacy. Please feel free to use that space.

In summation, bring your kids. They are welcome.

Is there a particular dress code?

We do not impose a dress code, but we do teach that the Bible is not silent on how we are to present ourselves. Therefore, we aim to dress modestly and respectably to keep our focus on Jesus and His worship during the service. However, clothing ought not be a barrier that keeps people from worshipping with us. Therefore all are welcome.
