It is our privilege to worship God and to live in His Glorious Creation!
We at King’s Covenant Church seek to live in relationship to God as the Lord over all things. Throughout the whole Bible, we see how God has graciously brought His people into a covenant relationship with Himself. In the light of this Covenant, and in the whole of Scripture, we are learning how God wants us to relate to Him and to his entire creation.
We are learning about God and how He wants us to live. He has provided salvation through His Son Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. His redemption is an historical fact, and is comprehensive over all things and continues throughout history as all things are brought into subjection to Him.
Because we are confident in the future that God brings, we start each week together in worship to Him, and then joyfully bring that worship with us throughout the week in all that we do. Worshiping as a corporate body on Sunday morning is the highlight of our week, as it reminds us that God is in the process of making all things new. We understand that we worship in communion with all the saints - past and future, near and far, young and old. God is both the Object and the Grand Director. The Bible is our playbook and script, and we try to concentrate our liturgy in the Psalms. Weekly communion should be inclusive for all covenant members. This worship informs and shapes the rest of our lives.
God has given us other people to learn from, to love, to enjoy, and to correct. These people may be very close, as in immediate family, or more distant, as in our workplace or neighborhood. We have an obligation first to God, then to our families, to all men, and to the whole of creation.
We declare and function as if God is redeeming all things to Himself. Because God has redeemed and is redeeming and because He is a loving, gracious, and generous ruler, we can be assured that the future will reflect His love, grace, and generosity.
Come join us in this life changing vision!
